I had another amazing session with one of my favorite families! I have been photographing Chricel since she was a tiny newborn, just 8 days old. Then she was 3 months, then 6 months–suddenly she’s 9 months old! She is pure sunshine and it warms my heart to see her smile. :) Here is her beautiful family spending another gorgeous morning in Claremont, soaking up the sun.

A new year and new faces! But before I share a sneak peek of my first session of the year, I would like to thank all of my wonderful families and clients for letting me into their lives last year. All the smiles and laughter have enriched my life and I am honored to capture the precious moments of you and your loved ones. :) Thank you for a wonderful time! Here is a little re-cap of my 2010:

I had the pleasure of spending some time with the beautiful Doyle family in Claremont a couple of weeks ago. The kiddos (2 years old and 6 weeks old) were absolutely adorable and so much fun. :) Add a little Minnie Mouse and a pettiskirt, and we had the makings of a delightful family session. Remember sweet baby Chricel from her newborn session? I can’t believe how much she’s grown in just three short months! Mom and Dad joined me along with their precious princess in Rancho Cucamonga for her 3-month session. She did so well and we had a great time despite the wet grass and a few bugs! :) Here she is in all her sweetness. Enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll see you all in another three months!!

Sweet Baby Chricel arrived 1 month early. Here she is, just 8 days old with Mommy & Daddy. Thank you, Claire and Chad, for the privilege of spending the morning with your new family. I’m looking forward to capturing Chricel as she grows in leaps and bounds during her first year.

The sun was hiding for most of this session, but the grey and cloudy skies could not keep this beautiful family away from their family session in Orange County! Little Miss Riley just turned one and I was on-hand to capture some close-ups of the Birthday Girl. Her big brother, Mommy, and Daddy were there to celebrate in the gorgeous natural backdrop. She arrived just 10 short days before, welcomed by her new big brother and Mommy & Daddy.  You may remember her from her debut session (in Mommy’s tummy, of course). ;) Baby Gianna was an absolute dream to work with–so, quiet, sweet, and sleepy! Just in time to celebrate her first Christmas, Kendall became the newest addition to the Q Family. I had the privilege of spending a chilly winter morning with the Q clan, complete with grandparents and friends visiting from out of town. Here is your sneak peek, Rhea and family. And welcome Baby Kendall!!  :)

As year-end approaches, each day seems to fly by faster and faster. My weekends are completely jam-packed with photo sessions and personal commitments for the rest of year, and with great reluctance and a heavy heart, I’ve had to turn some of you away. I wish there were more hours in the day!! But rest assured that I will follow up and book you that session that you deserve! :) And we all deserve one, don’t we?

I’ve been truly blessed this year–to have had such a wonderful and positive response to my photography and to my journey in developing my skills and my own style as a photographer. I’ve had the joy of working with friends, and friends of friends, and meeting new and wonderful, fun-loving people who let me take a little peek into their own lives by capturing that laugh or the tickle that ignites giggles from their toddler. And I hope to meet more of you!!

So the 2010 Calendar is open for sessions. If you’re interested in a photo session for yourself or your mom or dad, send me an email. If you want capture your baby’s first smiles, email me. Or if you have been putting off getting that family portrait with 4 generations of your family, please, email me. :) We’ll set something up in the coming year and make it a wonderful and memorable experience from which you’ll have a photograph–a memento, a keepsake–to remember and cherish…
