I joined Pamela and her family for an early morning session at one of L.A.’s favorite locations, Griffith Park. We started off at the Observatory and took in all of the great lines of this famous structure. It was a super-hazy morning, but eventually the sun broke through as we made our way down the winding roads to the woodsy trails. What a gorgeous morning it was! I had so much fun with mom and dad and the little guy (who just turned one two weeks before). Thank you for sharing your day with me and for all your smiles and laughter! Enjoy your sneak peek! :)

If there was ever a beautiful, glowing mother-to-be, Christine would most surely win a prize. I had the privilege to photograph her maternity session with her gorgeous family during the first weekend of Fall. This is my second session with the V Family and I am thrilled to watch them grow from a lovely family of 4 to a blessed family of 5! :) Enjoy your sneak peak and I can’t wait to meet Mallory when she arrives!

This session was a blast! Amy-Jo and I go waaaaaay back. Okay, well, maybe not THAT far back, but we did go to high school together. And she is the same warm, happy, confident, and gorgeous person inside and out that I remember from our Thespian days. I am so honored to be sharing some photos from her maternity session from the weekend. Can you believe she is due in just over a week?!?! She looks amazing. I got to meet her wonderful husband and their most adorable son. I had so much fun editing this session–I could not stop smiling as I looked at each laugh and hug and smile that I captured that afternoon. I can’t wait to meet the little one when she arrives! Until then, here is a sneak peek from your amazing session.

As year-end approaches, each day seems to fly by faster and faster. My weekends are completely jam-packed with photo sessions and personal commitments for the rest of year, and with great reluctance and a heavy heart, I’ve had to turn some of you away. I wish there were more hours in the day!! But rest assured that I will follow up and book you that session that you deserve! :) And we all deserve one, don’t we?

I’ve been truly blessed this year–to have had such a wonderful and positive response to my photography and to my journey in developing my skills and my own style as a photographer. I’ve had the joy of working with friends, and friends of friends, and meeting new and wonderful, fun-loving people who let me take a little peek into their own lives by capturing that laugh or the tickle that ignites giggles from their toddler. And I hope to meet more of you!!

So the 2010 Calendar is open for sessions. If you’re interested in a photo session for yourself or your mom or dad, send me an email. If you want capture your baby’s first smiles, email me. Family. Big or small, families are treasures. And the Q Family is just that–an absolute treasure. I had the joy of working with Rhea, Ed, and their three adorable kiddos last week for a family session in the city of Orange. And the best news of all is that they are expecting #4 in just a short while! :) Thank you so much for letting me spend the afternoon with you and capturing the hugs, and smiles, and love! Is there anything more beautiful than a woman aglow in pregnancy? Claire is certainly no exception.
