Like many new mothers, my obsession with capturing precious moments was born with the birth of my son. As he’s grown in leaps and bounds, so have my skills—evolving from simple snapshots to photos which are more deliberate in composition, lighting, and exposure. I am most drawn to lifestyle and natural light photography, in which I seek to capture expressions and emotions as they happen naturally. Every day, I read more and more about the technical aspects of photography and I lose myself in the work of other photographers from whom I gain inspiration after inspiration. And most importantly, I wield my camera daily with delight as I record everyday moments and the sincerity of a single glance.
